Wesley mourns the passing of Pastor Jean

Wesley United Methodist Church mourns the passing of its Pastor, Jean Russo-Parks and extends its deepest sympathy to her family.  For more than ten years, Wesley was blessed by, and grew from, Pastor Jean and her unmatched spirituality, faith, knowledge, vision, and humor.  Her commitment to making disciples for Christ and serving the needs of others locally and globally will remain Wesley’s mission and serve to honor the memory of our beloved Pastor.  Our deepest sympathies and abundant love is with her family.  As she gave of her love freely, so it shall be returned.

Services for Pastor Jean are as follows (please note these may be different from information previously posted):
Visiting Hours at Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, RI  Saturday, October 8, 2- 5 p.m.

Visiting Hours at Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Avenue, Saugus, MA  Sunday, October 9, 2-5 p.m.

There will be a private family burial.

Cards for the Russo family can be brought to the visitations or mailed to Wesley UMC for delivery to the family.

Continued prayers for the Russo family and for Paul, Victoria, Paul, & Alex Parks are certainly appreciated.  Joan Cianci, Seminary roommate of Pastor Jean, and a dear friend of the family, will join us for worship at Wesley on Sunday 10/9.
