Summer Worship

summer_scheduleBeginning Sunday, June 15, worship will move to 9:30 a.m.  As is our tradition, summer worship at Wesley is more casual and we invite everyone to “come as they are” before heading to the beach or other fun summer activities planned for the day.

On June 29, Pastor Bill will begin his sermon series offering themes drawn from scriptures paired with modern poetry chosen from Garrison Keillor’s anthology Good Poems. Our Wesleyan traditions emphasize how scripture connects with tradition, experience and reason to support our growth toward God. In these poems we’ll rediscover how God still speaks words of spiritual meaning in modern forms.

Each week you can look for a little preview of the weekly  message on our Facebook page.
